New research released today by the UK’s fastest air-link Heathrow Express reveals that while Brits rely on a variety of things in order for the day to run smoothly, it only takes as little as three to go wrong before the day turns into an epic fail.

 

Topping the list of the things Brits rely upon the most, 42% of respondents said family and friends (25%), over a quarter (26%) their alarm clock and 22% even said it is bad weather on a Bank Holiday..! When it comes to things that ruin the day, for more than half of respondents (53%) nothing is worse than a bad night’s sleep. An argument with a partner (18%), bad weather (13%) and money worries (9%) also are among the most likely to ruin your day.

 

But when it comes to business, it is transport that plays a crucial part: a third of respondents (33%) said reliable transport is extremely important for a successful working day. Heathrow Express recently established a new record as 94% of customers sampled in the latest National Rail Passengers Survey[2] said it identified the service as reliable.

 

Internationally renowned entrepreneur and founder of the MOBO Awards, Kanya King MBE, who teamed up with Heathrow Express to conduct the research, said: “As a frequent flyer, a stress free journey is my greatest priority and it comes as no surprise that almost ⅔ of Brits agree that reliable transport is essential to achieve that peace of mind!"
